For example, I know if I want to keep my WDSCi 7 install intact, I
should copy my workspace and migrate the copy as opposed to the
original.
Also, I seem to recall some recommendations, especially for Win 7, was
to install into some other directory other than the default Program
Files....but I believe that was mainly if you didn't have local admin
on your PC???

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Tips/Tricks for Installing RDp 8.5?
Sent by: wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx
In a sure sign of the Apocalypse....we got licenses for RDp 8.5... :)
A handful of developers will be installing the product, some of new
Win 7 PCs, others on WinXP PCs that already have WDSCi 7.0...
Are there any tips/tricks we should know about? Or does anybody have
any links to such tips/tricks?
For example, I know if I want to keep my WDSCi 7 install intact, I
should copy my workspace and migrate the copy as opposed to the
original.

to install into some other directory other than the default Program

There's surprising little information about actually installing the
product in the infocenter?

Thanks!
