Don't know if IM can reach out for the fix packs, but it looks like they are all still online here:

Thanks Buck. I confirmed that SysAdmin does have the 5722-WDS V7.0 CDs (disks 1-9, + Quickstart). My next concern is how to get from there to 7.0.0.8 Interim Fix V 001 (7.0.0.8_20090312_1000).
Is that still available through the Installation Manager update function?

SysAdmin is preparing to reload all of my software and files on a different but similar notebook that has been reformatted. As much as I'd like to transition to RDP, that's not in the budget. Best I can hope for is to get my existing development environment replicated as close to identical to the WDSCi I have now. If there are any further updates or fixes available before it went off support, I'd be happy to bring those in as well.

Last I knew, SysAdmin had WDSCi CDs from the Nixon Administration (might be version 6). Or if there were CDs included when we upgraded i/OS 7.1 in April, 2010, he might have whatever media arrived with that -- Don't know.

I have (according to Installation Manager):
IBM(r) WebSphere(r) Development Studio Client for iSeries(r) V 7.0.0.8
(7.0.0.20090225_1508) IBM WebSphere Development Studio Client for
iSeries, Version 7.0.0.8 Interim Fix V 001 (7.0.0.8_20090312_1000)

I don't know what WDSCi can be acquired via download or CDs, or how we might upgrade it, if an older version is all we can get. If there's a way to transfer the installation from my current notebook to the new notebook (both with MS Vista Business), might we be able to do that?

Does anyone have any ideas on a preferred procedure?

I copied the WDSC 7.0.0 CD's to my IFS root, thinking I could avoid the CDs. When I got a new Windows 7 PC and tried to install off of those images, I got Java and license errors. When I used the original CDs, Run as Administrator and install to anywhere except Program Files, no problem.

You really want the original v7 install CDs.
