Hmmm, seems to me that what you *really* need is RDP 8.5 with licenses for
RPG & COBOL for i and C/C++ (or COBOL) for AIX ;)

Run-As-Administrator (R-A-A) action. So in that case just to be sure
uninstallthe install of IM and WDSC has a chance to work I would first
closed,WDSC with IM (starting IM with R-A-A). Then close IM. When IM is
andstart the launchpad.exe program in the WDSC install image with R-A-A
andinstall WDSC.
I would be remiss to not point out that WDSC is no longer in service
currently inwas never intended to work on Win 7 but that RDP 8.5 is both
Technicalservice and will run on Win 7 in 32 or 64 bit environments.
