Yes. This error message is the result of trying to install to the same package group as the V8.0 version. So when I was prompted for the path to install, I added _V8.5 to the name, and that cleared up the problem. You can rename it anything you want to avoid this error.
There does appear to be lots of little things I am noticing in my install, which I completed yesterday. Wish I had time to explore more, but a project I am on is sapping up all my available time right now... :(

Did anyone receive a message at the end of trying to install RDP 8.5, "Problem Occurred. Failed to find installation files.
In the download director folder I see only two files, dlmgr.pro and IBMIM_32 IBM Installation manger for the Software Delivery. When I downloaded RPD 8 a while back there were several file. I may have downloaded the wrong thing or my download didn't bring all the files. After my download finished there was a prompt to automatically install and I selected all the defaults in the installation and all was going smooth until the end and I receive the Failed to find installation files.
I guess I will try another download after business hours...

We are working on getting the trial for RD Power 8.5 made available. Lots of products became available on June 15 so there is a bit of a delay due to volume.

I was wondering if anyone knows when we can expect this. I have contacted our BP about getting us set up with PPA, but have yet to hear back. And I've been eagerly awaiting this release.
