Thanks Edmund,

That doesn't really work for me as I usually need the the rse perspective
for rpg programming. I was hoping there'd be a default perspective for each
profile so that if I set up a connection for sql development attached to
one profile I could open automatically one perspective, and another for a
connection belonging to a different profile.

What are you using for SQL?

Dave,
I don't use Quantum but I do have a custom Eclipse perspective. Whatever
perspective is active when I shutdown, is used when I start up again.
In addition, if you go to Window->Preferences->General->Perspectives then
you can select your perspective and make it the default.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] QuantumDB problems
Sent by: wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi,

I've recently changed my password on the i, and now Quantum starts slowly,
eventually giving me the message that the saved password is no longer
valid. I enter the new one but the same message shows next time.

Also, to use the lpex editor with Quantum, I created my own perspective
My_QuantumDB starting with another perspective with just the lpex editor. I
then added the views from the original quantum perspective. So now I can
double click on a *.sql file and have it open in my own quantum
perspective. Seems a strange way of doing it, though. When I start, I have
to go looking for my perspective ( Window, open perspective, other, etc. )
Any thoughts?
