Hi Edmund,

Thanks for replying.

I have voted for this RFE but as us poorly COBOL developers are few a far between I fear it won't get enough votes to get included. Maybe I shall lobby some of our RPG develops to add their weight (God only knows what that will cost me)!

Anyway, thanks again and thanks for all the support you give us on this forum.

Mark,
We don't have that functionality right now.
I would suggest voting for the existing RFE for the COBOL outline view enhancements http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/execute?use_case=viewRfe&CR_ID=10320
I would like to get to this, but I need some community demand to help prioritize it.

Hi guys,

Is there a preference or anything that will allow me to see where I am in the outline according to the current line in the source?

I am doing lots of find/replace in a very complicated Cobol program and after I do a find it would be very handy to be able to glance at the outline to see where abouts in the program the found string line is. Is this currently possible?

I have had a search in the archives but couldn't find anything about it.

I am using RDPi 8.0.3.
