Ah, so this IS not an ActiveX Server Page thing? I see a number (33) that starts after the maximum for standard ASPs - OK, that makes a little sense.

Is the ASP extension needed because of some naming thing on the IBM i? Or is it just unfortunate that it is the same extension as ActiveX Server Pages? I'd've preferred 00033.iasp for the directory name myself!

Anyhow, back to my Dayquil stupor - thanks for watching these lists - I certainly appreciate your efforts.

Matt

I suspect that it has nothing to do with iASPs - it is probably an
ActiveX Server Page - same acronym as our Auxiliary Storage Pool.

ASP is a Microsoft technology - handled natively in IE.

I think!!

Sometimes!

My workspace remote temp workspace used to be name like

Now something I have added or IBM added via an update makes it look like

C:\Wkspaces\8.0\WKSP\RemoteSystemsTempFiles\400DEVL\QSYS.LIB\PGMT.LIB\00
033.ASP\QTXTSRC.FILE

Notice the 00033.ASP reference. Does anyone know where it came from?
And how to remove it in favor of the past form. We do use an IASP but
it never appeared in anything RDP before.

I have created several "File Search" "Working Set" filters to perform
quick search and replace operations. With this alteration I now have to
modify them all. If can remove the 0003.ASP from the folder path then I
will be happy.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks, Matt
