One question though if I may. Is it possible to get more than one 5250 session visible in the same instance for RDp?

there`s a new version of TN5250J for WDSCi 7.0 / RDP 8.0 available.

7.0-RDP 8.0 - Documentation" in section "Changes".
We now support only the Versions WDSCi 7.0 and RDP 8.0. All versions between
this -RDi 7.1 to RDP 7.6 - will no longer be supported.
