network guy says in Win7 to "replace" Docs & Setts with Users...

folder c:\users\gthomson\ibm\rationalsdp\workspace is empty
( Rational help suggests that path for Eclipse .log )

folder c:\users\gthomson\ibm\rationalsdp\workspace\.metadata is empty
( Rational help suggests that path for LPEX editor.log )

Current logging preferences are "Error only"

not much, but maybe this helps

Check the .log file in your workspace ... that will probably have a java stack trace that indicates where in the Java the failure occurred. With that, maybe someone from the RDp dev team can give some advice.
