The underlying problem is that we store the search results in QGPL/EVEVENT,
or in the current library if you have a *CURLIB set.
If you change your current library from QSYS to a library that you have
access to, this should resolve the problem.
We are looking into providing a better recovery message or fix to this
issue.

I am still learning how to use RDI. Today I wanted to search all my DDS
sources for the word 'unique'.
I set up a filter for my QDDSSRC file in the library I wanted, SPC5LIB.
I'd attach a screen shot, but I don't think it is permitted/ will display
correctly on this list.
When I right click and search, I get this error message:
EVFF8002:U
com.ibm.etools.iseries.subsystems.qsys.api.QSYSEncapsulatedException:
/QSYS.LIB/QSYS.LIB/EVFEVENT.FILE/EVFEVENT.MBR: Object in library QSYS
specified incorrectly.
I ended up searching in PDM and it found what I was looking for. I
suppose I should check to make sure I have all the latest patches, but I
would think that search/find would work at the basic level without
crashing.
Since the error message is about QSYS instead of my library SPC5LIB, I
wonder if there is some kind of path/library list issue.
Thanks in advance.
