× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

I'll put in an RFE for this.

Thanks, Matt

Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] RDp 7.6 Compile option in Remote Search View?

Hi Mattt,
Unfortunately this is a piece of functionality that was lost when we
changed our Remote Systems Explorer technology to use the open source
version, shared with the Eclipse community.
There were many benefits from sharing single technology across the
Eclipse
community but this was one of the sacrifices because the remote file
information for each of the search matches was no longer available.
Feel free to open an RFE to request that this functionality be added
back
to the product.

|[WDSCI-L] RDp 7.6 Compile option in Remote Search View?

In WDSC 7.6 when I get a list of search matches in the "Remote Search"
view I can right-click one to many entries and perform a compile over
that list. Why was this option removed from RDp?

I have not needed it on such a mass scale until just recently, but I
used to use that view to make lots of source changes, save using
Ctrl-Shift-S and then select all the found entries to recompile.

Thanks, Matt
