Larry;

Look at window->preferences->general->capabilities on your RDP 7.6 install. If the EGL capabilities is not checked that may prevent the EGL project wizard from appearing.

Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] No EGL Project after installing EGL CE into RDP 7.6

Tried to add EGL to my install of eclipse helios j2ee (Eclipse 3.6). It failed to install.

Got this series of messages:
Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
Software currently installed: EGL Community Edition Feature 1.0.1.v20100602_1721 (com.ibm.etools.eglce.feature.feature.group 1.0.1.v20100602_1721)
Missing requirement: EDT Core 7.1.201.v20100505_1739 (com.ibm.etools.edt.core 7.1.201.v20100505_1739) requires 'bundle com.ibm.icu [3.4.3,4.0.0)' but it could not be found
Cannot satisfy dependency:
From: EGL Part Editor 7.0.201.v20090813_0032 (com.ibm.etools.egl.parteditor 7.0.201.v20090813_0032)
To: bundle com.ibm.etools.edt.core [7.0.0,8.0.0)
Cannot satisfy dependency:
From: EGL Community Edition Feature 1.0.1.v20100602_1721 (com.ibm.etools.eglce.feature.feature.group 1.0.1.v20100602_1721)
To: com.ibm.etools.egl.parteditor [7.0.201.v20090813_0032]

I will try and download the all-in-one and use that, but that is really conceding defeat (As is trying to instal the plug-in into helios) as I want to use EGL in RDP 7.6. I guess for evaluation purposes that will suite.

Cheers
