I've been using the SoftLanding spool file plug-ins for some years now and they can be very useful.
In V8 IBM have added spool support but I'm finding it less than useful and I wonder if it is just me because what I'm seeing makes no sense as an implementation.
First of all double-click on a spool file does nothing because open is not the default action. Secondly if you pick to open the file it is displayed in a proportional font which makes it next to impossible to read. I hoped this was something that was an oversight but the first fix pack doesn't address it.
Is this what everyone is seeing or have I got a screwed up install again?
