WDSC and a patch for Windows 7?

Our PC group has us on the schedule to receive upgrades including going
from XP to Windows 7. However, we're not scheduled (or budgeted) to
upgrade from V5R4 on the midrange system nor RDPi. I've been tasked with
making sure the Windows 7 upgrade will work for us. Does anyone know to
what patch the post in the archives referred to below refers? (It was
posted by Dave Shaw in mid-March of last year.)

I've loaded the most recent version of Installation manager and have a
repository with all the WDSC 7 patches of which I'm aware. But when I
install I get the following error:
