I think if you want the Key via CD, they might charge you that. I went
from RDi 7.6 to RPD 8 and downloaded the activation key from their IBM
Rational License Key Center:
https://licensing.subscribenet.com/control/ibmr/login. I hope this helps.

We didn't have RDi and went straight from WDSC 7 to RDp 8 - we got hit by
the $50 media charge as well. The license activation was on a CD - I
wonder if this is the reason why.
