Did you change the member type to SQLRPG first?

Ugh! had to write time and date values to a file in an rpgIII. Suddenly remembered SQL works with OPM as well. Can't remember the syntax though. Pasted the first thing I found into LPEX :

C/EXEC SQL
C+ insert into mabib/doublonpf
C+ select cmatr from mabib/apmextpf
C+ group by cmatr having count(*)>1
C/END-EXEC

5 mins later : blue progression bar is still, er, progressing at the bottom middle of screen with mouse pointer shown as hour glass. Task manager says all is ok. So what is rdp doing? The progression bar in the middle of the screen is like a smile - is rdp laughing at me for using RPGIII?. I'll fix him with ctrl alt sup.
