Hi All
Mike Hockings has reproduced the problem, thanks to all the tips from many
of you, that it needs to be SEU commands in an SQLRPGLE member.
We have opened defect 8729 to track it.

I did try the 'parse all' command and it worked. Although I wish that the
SEU move commands worked like copy/paste and didn't color the moved
source. I guess its that way so that you know what it moved. I'd rather
it just select the source so that its highlighted. Then the next time you
move the cursor to edit something the highlight goes away and you can see
everything as it should be.
Thanks

Re: [WDSCI-L] RDP 8.0... code coloring issues when copy/paste used.
This is when it happens for me. Whenever I copy or move code from one
place to another with the SEU copy or move commands. it is colored blue
and stays that way until I close and reopen the source member. I presumed
the blue color was to show it had been changed but at some point I would
like to have it color coded as it should be. Maybe with F5 or ctl-F5. I
haven't tried the parse all suggestion yet. I'll give it a try the next
chance I get.

To Edmund
It seems to me that my example could involve the SEU-style move/copy
functions, too - dim memory!

Edmund,
Thank you for talking to the LPEX guys. Mike got a hold of me and I
forwarded him my PMR number. I'm working on trying to reproduce the
issue. I can get the orange text to appear, and in order to get it to
go away you have to hit a space at the beginning of the first line
copied. I did an SEU style MM/MM and A to move a chunk of code
within a single source member. I thought I remembered it being
copy/paste, but as of this morning so far I couldn't get copy/paste to
produce the orange text. I'll keep an eye on it throughout the day.
I might be worse on larger source, not sure though. I'm editing an
SQLRPGLE source at the moment.

It usually happens to me in RPGLE - can't remember it in any kind of CL.
I can't give you an exact scenario - maybe above a certain source size
- maybe a fairly sizable chunk copied from another member in an editor
window in the same instance of RDP.
It definitely happens in free form, but might in fixed, as well.

Ok, I submitted a PMR for it. It'll probably be burried, but at

I
submitted it.

Usually I find the RDP folks to be very responsive. If they can
duplicate the problem, they tend to fix it quickly.
