I've had this problem in RDP V7.6 and it still seems to be an issue in RDP V8.0. I believe there is some significance in it being orange? I thought it would go through the parser so it would get color coded...not sure.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] RDP 8.0... code coloring issues when copy/paste used.

I have seen this in WDSC versions 6 and 7 and thought maybe it would no
longer be a problem here in RDP 8.0. But alas I'm wrong. I don't know
why but for some reason when I copy and paste code, from on part of my
source to another, the pasted code is orange. And I have to close the
LPEX editor and reopen the source for it to recolor the code properly.
Why? Am I missing a setting somewhere? Anyone else seen this?

Thanks
