The main reason that plug-in's for WDSC 7.0/RDI 7.1 & RDI 7.5/RDP 7.x are incompatible is because IBM open sourced the RSE infrastructure which caused a refactoring of the entire framework.

Any plug-in that was written for the closed source RSE would be totally incompatible with the open source RSE.
