From the eclipse documentation
(current version at http://help.eclipse.org/helios/index.jsp)

you can search for "Eclipse Startup Parameters"

Cool - now where is that documented?

Hi Eric

This is great information, glad you're around to reply to these things.

Is this documented somewhere - command line options, that is? Will I
find it quickly if I search for that string in the help? I did some
searching in the help for things like CCSID and other stuff. I see sort
sequence in some of the preferences, where national language can be
entered. Not sure it affects what David needs. I'd never have thought to
look for national language.

I can't imagine the difficulty in determining what the really common
things are that we need to know. But the help is so big - the product is
so big - it's really hard to find this kind of information, at least in
my experience.

Thanks
Vern

David,

Have you tried doing a 'Modify' in Installation Manager? It will take
you
to the Language selection panel and you could deselect French.

If you want to keep French installed, you can modify the Start menu item
to
add '-nl en' to force English.

Hi,

I think it'd help a lot if I could get RDP going in English instead of
French.

According to IBM Installation Manager, I have English and French
installed.
But I can't see how to change the language. It doesn't seem to be in the
preferences. Would anyone out there know?

Thanks
