Re: Refreshing SEP in WDSCI 7.08

Robert, I suspect there may be variations to this response if you are
running something other than WDSc 7.0.0.8 (the best I've got here), but
here's what I've found:

When I initiate the SEP (through RSE "Set Service Entry Point"), I get
the detail of that SEP as a row in another view called "iSeries Service
Entry Points". For my set-up, this appears immediately in the same
frame as my source outline view. If you don't see that view, you can get
it from Window > Show View > Other... and select it from the list in the
"iSeries" folder. Then right-click the row showing your SEP, and click
Refresh from the context menu.

If your perspective/preferences requires that you go through that whole
process to get the "iSeries Service Entry Points" view each time, I
haven't saved you any trouble. But if you find how to make that view
appear automatically every time you initiate a SEP, it's a big help.

I have checked the archives and couldn't find an anwer to my question.

Is there another way to refresh a SEP other than through the Remote
Systems
Explorer perspective.

For example, if I am debugging a program and find an error I switch to
My
Editor (custom) perspective and make the correction and compile
(Shift/Ctrl-C). I now switch to the RSE perspective to refresh the SEP
before debugging the program once again.

Is there another way to refresh the SEP without switching to the RSE
perspective?
