Have you checked to make sure all required PTFs are loaded?
Also check for any updates to WDSCi (I believe the latest update, assuming you are on 7.0, was 7.0.0.8).

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Debugging -- variable no evaluations in WDSCi with IBM i 7.1

All,

Was attempting to debug a program using WDSCi for the first time since
the box was upgraded to OS v7.1...

SEP set normally
Debugger started normally when the program was run
Breakpoints worked fine.

However....
no "tool tip" variable values would pop up
right click on a variable didn't offer "monitor expression"
the monitor expression view didn't have any way to add a variable
right click on a line of source didn't offer any debugging context
menu, add/delete breakpoint or "run to location"

Now the last I time used WDSCi with the box, prior to the upgrade I
had come PC issues and WDSCi crashed...and the workspace was rebuilt.

So my question, does WDSCi v7 have some incompatibility with IBM i 7.1?

Or is there something messed up in WDSCi?

Thanks!
Charles
