Locally, whenever I see this, I'd go straight to the network firewall
admins to find out why they closed ports without talking to anyone else
in the organization... The debugger (STRDBGSVR) listens on port 3825 on
the development host. Your firewall should be configured to allow
inbound traffic for this port.

Hi,

I'm using RDp 7.6 and have just tried debugging an OPM Cobol program for
the first time in RDp and have come across an issue.

When I click on Debug configurations to setup the program to debug I get
the message "IBM I Debug Server has not been started yet" but I started
it just before clicking on the debug configuration.

I have checked the commands log and it shows the debug server is
started. I checked to jobs on the iSeries and they are running
(QB5ROUTER & QSYSJOBD).

This happened to me on Friday afternoon so I thought I'd try it again
this morning but with the same result.

Anyone come across this one? Anyone got any ideas how to solve it?
