You can't just set a monitor for the constant name? Then it will always
be visible over in the Monitor window while you are debugging using an
SEP.... you are using SEPs aren't you?

That was my first thought also...
However, named variables are just address, the compiler substitutes an
address every place a variable is used right?
It seems to me it's not unreasonable for the debugger to be able to
show us a constant.
Particularly since IIRC, for a constant, the compiler simply sets the
vaule up as automatic storage and replaces the name with an address
just like a variable.
