I can create the 6.0 server, it just doesn't default to any directory. It
has a browse button for me to set it. I thought it would be nice to just
put it in the same place at the 6.1 server but I can't find where it is
installed to...

I'm not sure what the Installation Manager has to do with any of this...
i'm a bit confused Steve.

Thanks

Re: [WDSCI-L] Define a New Server in Web Perspective

Bryce,

It's been a while, but did you install the optional WebSphere v6.0
infrastructure component when you installed WDSC 7 via Installation
Manager? Multiple WebSphere environments are not installed by default.
That's the first thing that comes to my mind re: why WDSC 7 cannot find
the installation directory since Installation Manager didn't install it
with WDSC 7.

Re:

I have the Web perspective set up in WDSC 7.0.0.8 with a Websphere
Application Server v6.1 in the Servers tab. But I need a v6.0. So i
right click in inside the Servers tab and choose New -> Server. I choose
the v6.0 server and click Next.

My problem is that I have no idea what to put for the Installation
directory. I have no idea where the other app server is created and can't
seem to figure it out either... any ideas?
