Tom,

You can get a lot more help on the WDSc list so I'm cross-posting there.

In short, WDSc was available around V4 as a "for pay" utility. Beginning with V5R1 (I think) it was bundled with the programming tool set.

With V6R1 RDi replaced it. Not sure what the charge is (it's a moving target).

WDSc came on CD's (about a dozen) in a plastic binder of that size. Check with your sys admin or whoever keeps the system software stuff. It, also, has Code/400 which contains the designer for displays and printers.

Subject: PDM vs WDSc

How do I get started using the GUI tool?
I did some research, but not sure if it was outdated or not.

It does not appear that GUI product is installed on my PC.

I certainly do not have a monster PC, but was able to develop in VB.NET. So
I think I can use the GUI tool also.

THANKS!
