Thanks for the reply.

Something certainly seems to be getting stuck.

The message is shown in a popup window in the IDE.

I did get round the problem by closing RDi & opening it again but this is not a good long term solution. I would like to understand what I am doing wrong.

I have used this quite extensively in both WDCS & RDi and it is only a problem in RDi.

Mark, just for fun try ending the debug server and restarting it:

ENDDBGSVR

STRDBGSVR

It seems that for some reason the debug server may have gotten "stuck".
If that doesn't work, try to find out which job is getting the MCH3402
message (where are you seeing it? in QSYSOPR?).

Hi all,

I am running RDi7.5 on a windows XP box.

I am getting a MCH3402 error when trying to set a SEP on a program.

I set the SEP, run through debug, made a change to the program, recompiled and attempted to refresh the SEP but nothing happened.

I then deleted the SEP and tried to add it again and now I get MCH3402 Tried to refer to all or part of an object that no longer exists.

I have tried refreshing various things in the IDE but nothing seems to work.

Does anyone know why the SEP refresh didn't work or what I should do to avoid this MCH3402?
