There is no cost for it. The 2.2 version I just downloaded was free of charge.

I think there is a version for DB2 on i. I saw it in installation manager.
It's version 1.2. There must be a cost for it because the license is
"trial."

(1) When Instillation manager comes to the install package screen, it has
something like "create new package or update package" selection. Select
update package and select the package your RDI is installed in. I had RDI
already running so it wouldn't allow me to update it so I ended RDI, clicked
the "create new package" and then clicked "update package" and it allowed me
to update the RDI package, little kludge but it worked.
