I use Quantum DB to write and test my SQL statements before cut & paste into a source member.
I like QuantumDB because it integrates into the workbench, but over the past year I've become reacquainted with OpsNav and it's SQL scripting capabilities and there's a lot to like there. It's got good save/restore capabilities and some neat functionality (especially the Explain tooling).

My biggest pet peeve with QuantumDB is the unconscionable lack of Undo in the editor. I have on more than one occasion been working on a large script and then accidentally deleted some of or all of it, only to wail and gnash my teeth as I pound on Ctrl-Z to no avail. To me, no modern software should be without an Undo in an editor.
