I have been having troubles non-stop getting and using RDi 7.5.
I first installed and updated to the latest patches.
I then copied my 7.0 workspace to a new folder and opened RDi 7.5 over
this new workspace (just as the migration help suggested).
At first I got most all items from my work space but there were issues
so I had to start over.
Each time I attempt to migrate a workspace it seems like I run into a
problem where that make me decide to start over.
My biggest complaint is the missing connections, filter groups,
profiles, user actions, user compile commands.
In my first migrations I noticed that RDi 7.5 would back up the
RemoteSystemsConnections folder now that folder is left alone.
Is there a "cache" that RDi 7.5 is keeping and thinks it already
migrated this workspace and then decides to skip this information?
Just before I wrote this message I was playing around with RDi 7.5 and
decided to open a connection in another window. When I did I got this
error message "Problems Opening New Window: Unable to create perspective
'MyiSeriesEditing'. There is no corresponding perspective extension."
The pop-up says to press the Details button to see more information but
the above message is the only thing shown.
I truly do not want to start over if I can help it, so any solutions
anyone has would be great.
Thanks, Matt
