No, the installer still identifies dependencies before it begins the
install, so blocks attempts to install all four parts in a single pass.
I still do installs in pairs (RBD + WAS, then Rdi + HATS).

1. Yes.
2. RDi-SOA includes RDi, so I'm a little confused. RDi-SOA is RDi and
RBD in the same workbench. I don't know if they've gotten the installer

to the point where you can install the entire thing in one shot. If
not, you should install RBD first; this enables one additional component

in RDi.
3. I heard some problems with Softlanding and I haven't tried ARCAD
since 7.1. I know Quantum DB works but IMO the Data Perspective in
RDi-SOA is better. (I can't stand the editor in Quantum DB - no
undo!!!)
4. It will load and run faster - that could be frightening <grin>.

I currently have WDSC installed on my PC.
I now have access to the RDI Developer for i and RDISOA install media.

Question 1: Can I install them alongside my WDSC?
Question 2: Do I install them separatly?
Question 3: I have the Softlanding, ARCAD and Quantum DB Plugins
installed. Are they avaiable for the RDI product?
Question 4: Anything unusual I need to be on the lookout for?

Thanks,
