Memory problems have been an issue, especially with WDSC. I worked with IBM for awhile to illustrate a significant memory leak issue which after some time and patience they were able to see. The most recent fixes have addressed some (but I'm sure not all) of the memory issues. How W7 affects this I don't know...but make sure you have all the latest updates applied to take advantage of any memory leak fixes.

Whenever I try to increase beyond -Xmx1536m, RDi refuses to start :-(
So far not a problem as I have not yet hit 1.5GB while working, but... I've
gotten close...

I am running RDi 7.5 on 64 bit Windows 7 with no observed problems.
It is running 32 bit with the 32 bit IBM JRE that installs with RDi. I
actually have it installed with RAD 7.5
Great :)
I was wondering how much memory RDi can then access since it should be
able to get a full 4 Gb segment of memory.
