It was reported here that it was said at COMMON that the next RDi was targetted for fall release, the
Screen Designer will be out of Tech Preview, and there'll also be a print file solution.

I have RDi 7.5. The display file designer says it is a "Technology Preview" and that it should be used in a production environment. WDSC screen designer did not say that. Doing some reading I see that RDi has had this in there since 7.1 (October 2008). Does anyone know if this tool is ever going to come out of "Technology Preview"?

As David noted, Screen Designer has always been a Technology Preview.
The developer in charge of that particular (most excellent) piece of
software had a little side track - he built one of the first production
quality WYSIWYG designers for JavaScript frameworks (that's the EGL Rich
UI designer, in case you're interested, a tool very near and dear to my
heart).

The good news is that I believe he's back on the Screen Designer with
the goal of getting it ready for a production release "real soon now".
I could tell you when, but then they'd have to kill me <grin>.
