You need to enable XML developer Capability to show Snippets view.
You can do that by the following steps:
Window -> Preferences -> General -> Capabilities, and then check XML
Developer.

Subject
[WDSCI-L] RDi 7.1 - Snippets dissappeared

Hi everyone,

For some strange reason my RSE perspective has reset itself and while
trying to re-customise it I have found that the snippets view seems to be
missing. When I upgraded from WDSC to RDi I migrated my workspace and the
snippets came with it, but now I can't open the snippets view.

Can anyone tell me how to get my snippets view back?

Best regards,
