Customer has been using 7.0.0.2 occassionally for some weeks. Updated to
7.0.0.6 prior to class this week (in theory to avoid problems of 7.0.0.8 -
ha!).
Today new workspaces "collapse"* after a short period of use. This is
quickly followed by a complete failure of product load if you attempt to
switch workspace, create new workspace, etc. No error message, not even a
JVM explosion - it just dies.
Relaunch the product and _if_ you have an old non-corrupted workspace it
will open it (thereby proving that product itself has not been nuked). But
on many of the machines eventually that workspace too gets corrupted.
By "collapse" I mean that some people suddenly find that RSE perspective
will not display. Only projects and debug. Others find that they cannot
create new connections. One had the thing blow sky high while simply
dragging a window.
Only common thing about these workstations is that they all have Thenon's
SEE Change WDSC plug-in installed.
So far only "cure" is complete uninstall and reinstall.
Anyone seen any problems with Thenon and/or Fix pack 7.0.0.6?
