The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
David,
I don't know about that. IBM originally announced they will support WDSC
(which is version 7) until 2010. Of course looking at their product
support lifecycle page
(
http://www-01.ibm.com/software/support/lifecycle/index_w.html), they now
list WDSC Advanced 7.0 supported until April 30, 2010. They show WDSC
7.0.1 supported until April 30, 2009--but WDSC 7.0.0 shows no end of
support. (The same no end of support holds true for version 5.4 and 6.1.)
Again, not even IBM really knows for sure what the deal on support for
WDSC and RDi is.
Anyway Mike, if you've got a sup SupportLine contract. Open a PMR--either
by voice or electronically (if you've registered) at:
https://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/set2/ssr/agrselect
If you acquired WDSC via Passport Advantage, I think you have a different
option via a wesite--I think that's at:
https://www-925.ibm.com/software/support/esr/.

Doubtful ... unless you can reproduce the bug in RDI 7.1 or 7.5.
