Hi Gilbert,

As well as that, what I have seen is that sometimes the WAS TE will
prevent updates to a published webapp. I don't know the cause of this
situation and from that you can infer that I don't know how to prevent it.
However, to avoid this I find it is best to stop the WAS TE before
converting so that everything in the project is updated correctly then
restart the WAS TE and republish (or run-on-server) and all should be
fine.

And of course, as Hania says, check for conversion errors :-)

Hi Gilbert,

Here are a couple of things that came to mind:
- maybe your WAS server is not publishing automatically - do you see the
changes if you force it to re-publish?
- maybe there are some errors in the web settings, so they're being
ignored
during conversion?

thank you,

Subject: [WDSCI-L] WDSC V7 Websettings not always appearing after
conversion

I have been making lots of web setting changes in my DDS. After
converting the dds and trying to test it in WDSC, the changes do not
always come through. I'm running V7.0.0 of WDSC.

I thought this might be a cache issue so I've tried stopping and
restarting WDSC on my PC but to no avail. I've also tried stopping and
starting *WEBFACING and changing from the internal browser to Internet
Explorer and all to no avail.

Has anyone run into this problem and can you recommend a process to
correct this situation?

Thank you,
