Mike,

One other way you could also try in WDSC debugger is to use the Memory
view.

Right click on the variable and choose Monitor Memory -> Hex and
characters. This variable will be shown on the Memory view. You may need
to click on the "Toggle Split Pane" button at the right top corner of the
Memory view (looks like a table with two columns) for the first time.

Re: [WDSCI-L] Monitoring Long String Fields

Mike,

You can also do it in WDSc, when the monitor box comes up with the field
name or you enter the field name in, add ":c 2048" (without quotes). It
should then show you the entire field. Also if you double click the field
in the monitor pane it will allow you to scroll right and left.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Monitoring Long String Fields

In my RPG application, I am using a long string field (2048A). When I
monitor the statement, it only shows the first 128 (or something like
that)
characters. Is there a way to set the monitor to show all of the
characters.
I know I can do this on the green-screen, but I would prefer not to have
to
do that.
