Make sure you have the Data capabilities defined. You can do this with preferences (Window > Preferences, then go to General > Capabilities and make sure Data is checked).

After reading an article in the current System iNews (September), I went
looking for the Data Perspective (Window | Open Perspective | Other) and it’
s not listed in the RSE desktop. I’m on v7.0.0 (build 20070202_0030).
Looking for updates didn’t yield anything. Can someone enlighten me as to
where I should be looking for it? TIA…
