Sorry, I just canot find the
right-click on the file in RSE and select "Refresh Cached Definitions".

I right click all over the place in RSE on the FSPEC on the file in the
Outline View but the "Refresh Cached Definitions" is nowhere to be
found. I am using Version: 6.0.1 Build id: 20050725_1800.

I would appreciate it if you could tell me the precise click sequence,
or do you mean the Verify Refesh Cache is the way to do this.

Yes. Normally this is all you have to do.

Hi

I had the issue with a new field in a file and I took the action
to refresh both caches as per.
http://archive.midrange.com/wdsci-l/200805/msg00224.html

That resolved the issue, but I saw this comment, from Joe I think.
This is easy to fix... right-click on the file in RSE and select
"Refresh
Cached Definitions".

Is this a proposed function or does it already exist?

I noticed that if I do a Verify Prompt one can choose to Refresh Cache
but I had already cleared the problem before I noticed this.
I just wonder if this would have resolved my problem.
