Hi,

I'm not sure if you've tried this but have you looked at the "monitor"
view in the Debug perspective? You can highlight the variable name in
the Debug editor and press F11, or right-click in the "monitor" view in
the debug perspective and select "Monitor Expression".

The monitor view will display all the contents of selected fields, data
structures and arrays. The only problem with the monitor view is that
you may have trouble manually *changing* parts of data structures
sometimes, and other times the view can not display more that 2048
characters in a single field.

Best regards,
Paul

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Debugging - Displaying the Contents of a Table

Hi,

I have an ile rpg program with the following Table declaration

D TABPRV S 10 4 DIM(13) ALT(TABPRC)

TABPRC contains values (P1, P2, P3, P4, P5, P6, P7, P8, P9, C1, C2, C3,
C4) and

TABPRV conatins corresponding values to these codes.

In WDSCi debugger, I can only view the current element of these 2
variables

Ie. If I have a breakpoint after program code

C 'P9' LookUp TabPrc TabPrv 99

then I can only see TABPRC & TABPRV at the 9th element.

Does any know how to view the contents of the whole table?

Ps. if debugging on the iSeries I could use "EVAL TABPRV(1..9)"

Is there a way of running this EVAL statement in WDCSi Debugger?

Regards
