This is curious because I installed RDi *after* I installed RBD.  So I 
guess the *feature* here was that the RDi installer wasn't detecting the 
prior installation of RBD or the 7.1.0.1 release was released without 
knowing the impact on RBD.  In any case, thanks for the link.  I'll wait 
patiently for the next release that will peacefully coexist with RBD.
