Hi All,No.
We have a P10 with active SWMA, and as such I was under the impression
that we would be able to get 8 seats for RDi as part of the entitlement
offered to people with an active SWMA...
Your BP is correct.
My BP is telling me that the entitlement only actually covers the
compilers.
Yes and it depends. It seems pretty similar with the exception of the App
Has everyone here really been paying $795/seat to move to RDi? We are a
small shop and getting the budget for this will be difficult. Are there
enough improvements in RDi to warrant the expense?
Not sure.
Also, I read a while back that if you do not use the legacy compilers
you could drop them from your SWMA and save some money. Has anyone
actually done this, and if so what sort of savings did you see?
Doubt it.
And finally, on a related note, I wonder if I could trade my
entitlements for RDi seats? If I traded in my unused seats and traded
in my legacy compiler support altogether, maybe we could get RDi?
Wow. There is a lot of wishful thinking in this post :)
