submit a DCR for it...if several of us do maybe they'll look into it...
we'll *really* need it when they start supporting overloaded procedures...

Thanks,

[WDSCI-L] Application Diagram View --- Suggestion for RPG to have
something like JAVADOC for subprocedures and subroutines and modules
etc

I attended the TUG TEC Conference recently and got to see a demonstration
of
the Application Diagram view that I had not seen before. I'm using WDSC
7.0
so I'd heard about it but never seen it.

One thing that I thought of and wonder if we could ever get an enhancement

to RDI is to have a new RPG syntax code that would be used in the
Application Diagram view when your looking at subroutines or
subprocedures.
I suppose this would also require an enhancement to the RPG Compiler as
well
to allow for a new form of comment line.

So when your looking at the application diagram view instead of just
seeing
the subroutine/subprocedure name you'd also see what RPGDOC you had for
it.

Just a thought............

Regards
Andy
