FWIW, the automatic SQL formatting starts to suck massively when the
statement gets even a little complex.
Example (hoping that line truncation won't make it even less readable)
Exec SQL
Select '1' into :sw_ok
from sysibm/sysdummy1
where exists (
Select 1
from PDIT19PF a
where pdmnbr19 = :pdmnbrpr and
vernbr19 = :vernbrpr and
wflcur19 like :wflid273 and
lcscur19 = :lcsalw73 and
exists (select 1 from pdwd73pf
where wflty173 = :wflty173 and
wflid173 = :wflid173 and
lcstar73 = :lcstarpr and
wflty273 = :wflty273 and
wflid273 like :wflid273 and
lcsalw73 = a.lcscur19 and
(claent73 = :c_allowed or
claent73 = :c_mandatory)) and
not exists (select 1 from pdlh27pf
where pdmnbr27 = a.pdmnbr19 and
vernbr27 = a.vernbr19 and
pdmcls27 = 'ITEM' and
wflide27 = a.wflcur19 and
lcstar27 = a.lcscur19 and
lcsfla27 = ' '));
gets mangled into
Exec SQL
Select '1'
into :sw_ok
from sysibm / sysdummy1
where exists (Select 1
from PDIT19PF a
where pdmnbr19 = :pdmnbrpr and
vernbr19 = :vernbrpr and
wflcur19 like :wflid273 and
lcscur19 = :lcsalw73 and
exists (select 1
from pdwd73pf
where wflty173 = :wflty173 and
wflid173 = :wflid173 and
lcstar73 = :lcstarpr and
wflty273 = :wflty273 and
wflid273 like :wflid273
and
lcsalw73 = a.lcscur19 and
(claent73 = :c_allowed or
claent73 = :c_mandatory))
and
not exists (select 1
from pdlh27pf
where pdmnbr27 = a.pdmnbr19 and
vernbr27 = a.vernbr19 and
pdmcls27 = 'ITEM' and
wflide27 = a.wflcur19 and
lcstar27 = a.lcscur19 and
lcsfla27 = ' '));

Re: [WDSCI-L] SQL Prompting
Not sure about WDSCi.
WDSCi V7 does have some formatting options at:
Remote Systems
Remote Systems LPEX Editor
ILE RPG
Free-form SQL Formatting
