That's my point. Your reasons for looking to IBM for a native GUI are perfectly valid, but you and IBM are not perfectly in sync. So I'd suggest that you dig a little deeper and look more within your own self to see what you can do.

Joe suggests an EGL client paired with an RPG server. It could be a PHP client paired with an RPG server, or a Net.Data client and an RPG server, or a CGIDEV2 client with an RPG server, or a J2EE client with an RPG server.

I'm personally bent on ILE solutions, so if someone were to make a set of RPG procedures available to evoke a Web service with a single line of code I'd probably use it. Until then, there are tools like EGL.
