I've had that problem sometimes when I had used SoftLanding's Compare
plugin. And I repeat, it only happens sometimes. After using the compare
plugin and when I went back into it with the lpex editor, it would bring up
the "saved" version. So, it's sitting out there in a workfile somewhere. I
look at it in green screen and find the unchanged version. I can change the
supposedly saved version, save, exit, and go back in and the new changes are
there. Just not up on the iSeries. I, too, would have to perform a "Save
as".
Now I don't know if this is part of the problem, but sometimes when I using
the Compare plugin, I don't want to copy all of the block of code over. So,
I highlight only the lines I want to copy, copy, and paste. The Compare
plugin automatically does a save and takes me back to the top of the code.
Or at least the diskette icon is back to a ghosted state.
