There's an update to the installation manager version that's on the
distribution CDs. I think if you can get installation manager to run,
you can get it to update itself over the net. You need the new version
in order to install the latest version of WDSC anyway. You can do that
during the install too, by checking the "check for updates" checkbox in
installation mangager before you begin the install. It worked for me, on
both XP and Vista, but both were fresh installs of windoz.
