V6 is very old version, you must get now V7 or even V7.1 next month.
also remember EGL in not included in the WDSCi base, you can download the
add-ons or upgrade to the rational RDi SOA version.

(not so easy)

I'll admit, much of this thread confused the heck out of me. But, I am
very
interested in checking out EGL, trying out a demo app, etc. How do I get
there from here? I'm currently on V5R4M0, and I have IBM Rational Web
Developer V6.0, IBM WebSphere Development Studio Client for iSeries V6.0.
Thanks, Tim

Maybe integration is a better word than support, meaning that front-end
RBD will interact better with back-end RPG.

Again, there's nothing specific to RPG, but I've been heavily involved
with the ILE integration and I can tell you that it's blisteringly
fast. Either using straight page-at-a-time JSF or AJAX, web pages using
RPG business logic absolutely fly - subsecond response time (actually,
under a tenth of a second on a LAN).
