Hi Buck,

You are correct that you currently need to select the members to diagram
as a starting point. However you don't need to select all the members for
an application for the diagram to be useful, you can open a diagram for a
single member or just a few members you are currently working on to get a
visualization of the call graph within the member(s). There is an action
to build a diagram from the Remote Systems LPEX Editor for the current
member being edited.

We have lots of ideas for improving the diagram but would love some
feedback from you (or anyone else who's interested) if you get a chance to
use it on your own applications. Obvious things like was it useful, but
specific things like were you able to gain some useful information from
it, how could the visualization be improved to make it easier to extract
information from the diagram, what other types of information would you be
interested in seeing in the diagram.

Back to your original posting, we are investigating additional actions
for building the diagram that starts at one member (or program / service
program) and iteratively builds the diagram based on dependencies.

Thanks.

Xin nian kuai le! (Happy New Year! - I hope)

Very nice demo.

It's good to see the Screen Designer Technology Preview Phase 2 in an
Eclipse window. Looks better every release!

I'm not sure how the Application Diagrammer will fit in to my situation.
We have 1850+ members in QRPGLESRC in the main production library and
another 400 in QRPGLESRC. There are about 10 libraries that make up the
entire system and they all have a mix of OPM and ILE.

Am I mistaken, or does one need to specify the members to 'diagram'
before getting started? With several thousand members to choose from,
it would be a fair amount of effort to do the analysis in order to get
the analysis, so to speak. It sure looks nice though!

Thanks for the work you all do. It _is_ appreciated!
